Social Sciences Research Methods Programme | SSRMP

Timetabling is a complex business, and students often need to check or change their bookings.

Check your bookings...

If you want to check your bookings with us, you can do this by visiting the SSRMP portal on the University Training Booking System (UTBS), and clicking on the Your Bookings tab along the top of the page. This will allow you to look at your current bookings, and your training history.

Cancelling a booking...

If you change your mind about attending a module for which you have booked a place, please take a few moments to cancel your booking. If a module is oversubscribed, cancelling an unwanted place will enable another student to attend. If you cancel giving two full working days' notice, your department will not be charged for the module.

Cancelling before the start of the module...

You can cancel a booking yourself at any stage prior to a module beginning, via the University Training and Booking System (UTBS). This can be done by navigating to

  1. your original booking confirmation email, clicking on the link below the sub-heading, 'changing your booking', and hitting 'cancel booking',
    OR
  2. the SSRMP training programme timetable, selecting the module you wish to cancel, clicking 'view booking' and then 'cancel booking'.

Cancelling after the start of a module...

Cancellations cannot be made after a module has started. However, your lecturer may like to know that you won't be returning, so please email the SSRMP Administrator at ssrmp@hermes.cam.ac.uk to say you will not be attending any further sessions.
